The method of mounting – whether to install solar panels on your roof or through a pole mount is both personal preference and characteristics of your land and building.

For one or two solar modules, pole mounts are often preferable, as it allows for easy orientation and can be assembled safely on the ground.  Many customers consider top bracket, pole mounted solutions more aesthetically appealing than placement on their roofs.

For larger installations or where the roof is naturally orientated to maximize sun exposure with minimal shading throughout the day, roof mounting may be a better option.

Roost Energy will help you determine the best method and location of mounting upfront in the design phase.
